We are going to learn about ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS!

Step 1: Basic Information

~To start, you will need to print:

~Fill out the graphic organizer while you watch the Animal Adaptations Video on this interactive website.


Step 2: Group Research

~You will be working with your group to research ONE animal and its adaptation to its environment.

~Go to this website that contains Animal Adaptations Information, to find out information about your animal's adaptation.


Step 3: Wiki Page

~Once you and your group research your animal, you will need to post your findings on the Class Wiki on your animal's page.

~You will need to include this information:
  1. Picture of your animal
  2. Description of its environment
  3. Description of adaptation and how it helps your animal survive


Step 4: Make a Video

Now that you have researched your animal and its adaptation, you will make a video with your group to share with the class and with the world through our class YouTube Channel (so make it good)!

~You will use the program Photo Story 3 to make your video.

~In your video you will need to meet these requirements:
  1. Title Page
  2. Caption of animal's name
  3. 5 or more pictures of your animal
  4. 1 picture showing its adaptation
  5. 1 picture of its environment
  6. Brief description of environment
  7. A voice recording of facts that explain how your animals adaptation helps its survive in its environment
  8. Transitions
  9. Music throughout entire video
